Mrs. Carla Teeter Wingfield, 61, a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, is now with her Heavenly Father after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born July 26, 1952 to Howard and Dorothy Watkins Teeter and passed away in Ridgeland, Miss., on March 16, 2014. Carla was preceded in death by her father, Howard Teeter, and a grandson Ezekiel Abel.
Carla leaves her mother, Dorothy Teeter of Steele; one sister, Kathy Van Dyke,of Steele; her brothers, Steve Teeter and his wife, Angie, Rick Teeter of Steele and Terry Teeter of Steele and his wife, Carolyn, of Mountain Home, Ark.; her children: Jessica Able and her husband, Bill, of Duncan, Miss., Randy Wingfield, Jr., and his wife, Jennifer, of Canton, Miss., Casey Wingfield and his wife, Miranda, also of Canton; and nine grandchildren: Isabella, Mclain, Trest, Ben, Maggie, Reece, Macy, Sarah and Wicks.
Services were conducted Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with Mr. John Mundy officiating. Interment was in Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele. Pallbearers were Chris Teeter, William Myers, Joe Ben Baxter, Jr., Terry Teeter, Everett Blankenship, and Dustin Perrydore.
John W. German Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of arrangements.
