Funeral services for Hilton Plank, 70, Willow Springs, Mo., were Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at the Curry Street Church of Christ, West Plains, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Plank died 8:50 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at West Plains. He was born May 29, 1938, in Dent County, Mo., to Herman and Alma Elizabeth Stafford Plank.
On May 24, 1959, he was married at Salem, Mo., to Melba Medlock.
Mr. Plank was a veteran, having served with the National Guard. Before his retirement, he was employed at MoDOT as a special maintenance supervisor.
Mr. Plank was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and loved hunting, fishing and horseback riding. Mr. Plank loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandson and friends. Most of all, he loved God and was a very active member of the Willow Springs Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Melba Plank, of the family home; one son, Michael Plank and fiancée, Stacy Masterson of Willow Springs, Mo.; three grandchildren, Wade Hilton Plank, Brandi Creps and Levi Masterson, all of Willow Springs, Mo.; two brothers, Hobert Plank, wife, Helen, of St. Louis, Mo., and Howard Plank of Tiffin, Ohio; three sisters, Reba Bingham of Anutt, Mo., Dortha Lee Conley of Anutt, Mo., and Marietta Lawson, husband, Carl, of High Ridge, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His parents and one infant sister, Leota Plank, precede him in death.
Burial was at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Willow Springs Church of Christ and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. [Howell County News, Jan 6, 2009]

Funeral services for Melba Dean Plank, 70, Willow Springs, Missouri, will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Willow Springs Church of Christ under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mrs. Plank died 7:07 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2011 at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Springfield, Missouri. She was born March 25, 1941 in Dent County, Missouri to Ogle O. and Cledith M. Schafer Medlock. On May 24, 1959, she was married at Salem, Missouri to Herman "Hilton" Plank who preceded her in death on December 31, 2008. For many years, Mrs. Plank was the manager of a clothing store in Willow Springs where she enjoyed working and serving her many customers. She loved cooking and baking which she shared with shut-ins and her many friends and neighbors. Mrs. Plank was a member of God's family and attended the Willow Springs Church of Christ. She is survived by her son, Michael Plank, wife, Stacy, Willow Springs, Missouri; four grandchildren, Wade Feldman-Plank, Brandi Creps, Levi Masterson and Logan Welch, all of Willow Springs, Missouri; one brother, Dennis Medlock, wife, Vicki, Salem, Missouri; her sister-in-law, Berndean Medlock, Salem, Missouri; one niece, Sheila Hampton, husband, Keith, Salem, Missouri; two nephews, Gary Medlock, wife, Sarah and Clinton Medlock, wife, Barb, both of Salem, Missouri; numerous extended family; and many friends. Her parents, husband, and one brother, Harold Medlock, precede her in death. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m., until service time Friday at the Willow Springs Church of Christ. Burial will be at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Willow Springs Church of Christ Building Fund and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
