Bobby R. Wilferd, 52, died December 2, 1998 at the River Oaks Care Center in Steele. He was born on March 16, 1946, the son of Stella Ham and the late James Wilferd.
He was a truck driver for TCB Trucking Company. At Osceola, Ark., January 30, 1988, he was united in marriage to Debra Hunt.
Survivors include the following: his wife, Debra Wilferd of Holland; three sons, B.J. Wilferd of Kansas, Gary Wilferd of Alabama, and Mike Russell of Springfield; four daughters, Barbie McCoy of Springfield, Lannie Wilferd of Washington, April Wilferd of Holland, and Danna Russell of Steele; his mother, Stella Wilferd of Steele; two sisters, Melba Inman of Blytheville, Ark., and Mary Casper of Texas; six grandchildren; three nephews, Stephen Casper, Wayne Inmon, and Jeff Inmon; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 5, 1998, at 2:00 pm. at the Baptist Church in Holland, with Rev. John Dunavant officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
