Mr. Funderburk had been in ill health for about two years. He was feeling some better, however, at the time of his death, being out in the orchard, when a hemorrhage attack caused his death in a few minutes.

He was united in marriage to Miss Clara Masier in 1924. One child, Ora Lee, was born to this union, who survives.
In addition to his wife and daughter, other surviving relatives are his parents, two brothers, Dallas and Elmer, and four sisters, Miss Della, Mrs. Ethel Castman, Mrs. Emma Campbell, Mrs. Andrew Crawford and Mrs. Mamie Stone.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church here Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Herman Wagner in charge, assisted by Rev. Dunklin. Interment was made at Mt. Zion cemetery.
