TUCKER, Billy D. - Age 83 , of Swartz Creek, died February 20, 2014. at his home.
Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday, February 23 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint, Pastor Aaron Whitman officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM Sunday until the service. Interment Wednesday in Howell Memorial Park, West Plains, Missouri.
Billy was born August 9, 1930 in Detroit the son of Norman Robert Tucker and Enola Mae (Powers) Tucker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Billy retired from GM as a Truck Driver with 30 years of service. He was a past president and held several other positions with the Lions Club. He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Swartz Creek. Surviving are: children, Sharon Hopkins (Steve Marlet) of Davison, Mark A. (Shannon) Tucker of Lowell, MI, John (Sue) Cooper of Grand Blanc, Peggy (Ron) Burr of Florida; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Hattie Worley of West Plains, MO, Charles Tucker of West Grass Lake MI; Brent (MaryLou) Tucker of West Plains, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Loretta; and son William. [sharpfuneralhomes.com/obituaries]
