PINEVILLE, Mo. — Betty Elaine Ragland, 68, of Pineville, Mo., died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born Dec. 13, 1942, at Sabetha, Kan., to Lawrence Glenn Walton and Caroline Rose Palmer Walton.
She was employed at Arrest Bentonville as a word-processor.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge, where she was a pianist for 42 years.
Betty loved God first and then her family. She enjoyed collecting lighthouses and butterflies, and is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors are her husband, Allen Ragland of the home; two sons, Duane Ragland and Craig Ragland and wife, Karisa, of Pineville; one sister, Christie Beck and Glenn of Pineville; and two granddaughters, Ami and Amanda Ragland.
Service is set for Monday, Oct. 10, 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge. Burial will be at Simsberry Cemetery, north of Pea Ridge.
Visitation is set for Sunday, Oct. 9, 2 to 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 46, Pea Ridge, AR 72751.
