Mr. Edward Milton Woody, 67, of Steele, Mo., died Tuesday, December 31, 1996, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born August 7, 1929 at Eldorado, Ill., he was a son of the late Ellis Woody and Irene Yates Woody.
Mr. Woody was a retired x-ray technologist from Pemiscot Memorial Hospital at Hayti, Mo. and later from Twin Rivrs Regional Medical Center in Kennett, Mo.
At Caruthersville, Mo. on April 10, 1958 he was united in marriage with Patricia A. Burton.
Mr. Woody leaves his wife, Patricia (Patty) Woody, of Steele.
Three sons: Philip Burton Woody, Don Edward Woody, and Thomas Pinnell Woody, all of Steele; Two brothers: Don Woody of Munford, Tenn. and Ralph Woody of St. Louis, Mo.; One sister, Mrs. Jane Woody May, of Dexter, Mo.; Six grandchildren: Evan Alexander, Eric Lyndon, Anthony, Jeremy, Leann and Bo; and Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Woody were held Thursday, January 2, 1997, at the church of Christ in Steele with Mr. David Webb officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
