Verna Roberts, age 82 of Branson, MO., died at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Point Lookout Nursing & Rehab in Hollister, MO.
She was born on June 22, 1932 in Arroll, Missouri the daughter of Herschel and Hazel Wofford. She was a retired bank teller with Ozark Mountain Bank and member of the Branson United Methodist Church. She had been a resident of the area for the past 35 years.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, George Roberts, three sons; Gerald Roberts and wife Enette, Kent Roberts and wife Carol, Don Roberts and wife Kem, two sisters; Lois McKinney, Joanne Meskimen, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lyle Wofford.
