Funeral services for Sarah Ardenia Brumley were conducted Friday, April 27, 1973 at 2:00 p.m. in the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Albright officiating.
Born December 31, 1876 in Tennessee, Mrs. Brumley died April 25, 1973, at the Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital in Hayti at the age of 76.
She leaves her widower, Claude Brumley, of Steele; one daughter, Gladys Brumley, and one sister, Bessie Pike of Steele.
Pallbearers were Wilburn Clark, Oscar Whittington, Jr., Ray Hurley, Pokey Flood, Clell Flood, and Eugene Gillette.
Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery. German-Aumon Funeral Home in Steele was in charge of arrangements.
