ORPHEUS E. WANTLAND
Orpheus E. Wantland, 60, of Route 10, died at 10:20 p.m. Thursday at the state sanitorium in Mt. Vernon. A native of Nettleton, Mo., and a farmer, he had lived most of his life near Springfield.
He is survived, by his wife Cordie; a son, Daniel, Kansas City; a brother, Sollie Wantland, of Bartlesville, Ok.; three sisters, Mrs. Cleta Daugherty and Mrs. Opal Toth, both of Bartlesville, and Mrs. Grace Thompson, Cherryvale, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
Ayre-Goodwin is in charge of arrangements.
