Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Crews were held Friday July 31, 1970, at the United Methodist Church in Holland with the Rev. Claude Stone Jr., officiating.
Mrs. Crews, the widow of Gideon Crews, was born at Tyler, Mo., and died Wednesday, June 29, at her home in Holland. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Edwards.
She leaves two brothers, Claude Edwards of St. Louis and Albert R. Edwards of Sikeston; four nieces: Mrs. Claudine Lindley of St. Louis, Mrs. Mildred Erickson of Miami, Fla., Mrs. Virginia Spears of Kenel, Ky., and Mrs. Sylvia Masbleck of St. Louis; one nephew, William Edwards of St. Louis.
Interment was in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele with the John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Lewis Hester, Charlie Cohoon, Pinnell Capehart, Bud Oates, Jim Norrid and Gardner Norrid.
