DEE. E. PERKINS
Dee Elmer Perkins, 68, of Route 2, Fair Grove, died Friday at 7 p.m. at Burge - Protestant Hospital. He had lived near Fair Grove 16 years, moving there from Springfield. He attended Assembly of God Church.
Survivors are his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Clifford, Springfield, and Don, Freeport, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Blakey and Mrs. Evelyn Blakey, both of Kansas City, and Mrs. Norma Clayton, Phoenix, Ariz.; a half-brother Henry Wall, Strafford; four sisters, Mrs. Clint Smith, Springfield, Mrs. Cordie Wantland and Mrs. Cressie Thompson, both of Kansas City, and Mrs. Flossie Steward, Cherryvale, Kan., and 16 grandchildren.
Ayre - Goodwin is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Funeral services for Dee Elmer Perkins, 68, Fair Grove, who died at 7 p.m. Friday in Burge Protestant Hospital, were to be at 2 p.m. today in the Ayre-Goodwin Chapel with the Rev. Jack McIntosh officiating. Burial was in Liberty Cemetery.

DOROTHY FAY PERKINS
Dorothy Fay Perkins, 95, died January 20, 2004, in Green Haven, in Springfield.
Dorothy was born February 4, 1908, the daughter of N.S. and Arminta Fields. She was united in marriage to Dee Elmer Perkins in August of 1924. She lived in the Kansas City area for several years, but lived in Springfield and Fair Grove areas for about fifty years. She attended Westport Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two daughters, Betty Louise and Virginia.; three brothers, Ray, Wade, and Roy; and five sisters, Ida, Bertha, Edna, Esther, and Susie.
Survivors include two sons, Clifford of Florida, and Donald of Nixa; two daughters, Norma Riddle of Alabama, and Evelyn Blakey, of Ozark; two sisters, Stella Freeman and Willie Freeman, both of Springfield; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2004, in Thieme-Shadel-Hicks Funeral Service at Rivermonte. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
