Mrs. Ethel Pearson, a resident in this community for 59 years, succumbed to illness February 10. Mrs. Pearson was at the Presnell Hospital in Kennett at the time of her death. She was 67 years, 5 months, 22 days of age.
Mrs. Pearson was the widow of the late Brown Pearson.
Funeral services were held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Baptist Church in Denton, Rev. G.Y. Hanks and L.C. Glenn officiated.
Interment was in the Mr. Zion Cemetery with German Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Bethel Hight, Smackover, Ark., Mrs. Eunice Seymore, Charleston, Mo., Mrs. Juanita Hole, Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Gloria Yarnell, Oak Lawn, Ill., Mrs. Frankie Cheshire, Kennett, Mo., Mrs. Bonnie Cuthbertson, Chicago, Ill., twenty grand-children; a brother, Bob Shelton of Princeton, Ky., and a sister, Hazel Todd of St. Louis, Mo.
