Funeral services for Mrs. Gracie Wallace, 77, of Holland, were held Tuesday, August 24, 1982 at 1:00 p.m., at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele. Rev. Charles Faught officiated.

Mrs. Wallace was born September 20, 1904 at New Albany, Mississippi, and died at the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville August 23, 1982.

Her husband, John Wallace, preceded her in death in 1962.

She leaves one sister, Mrs. Margie Pay of Blytheville; one brother, Andy Fortner of West Memphis, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Cecil Riley, Bud Davis, Junior Atkins, Donnie Riley, Clifford Britt, and Chesley Copeland.

Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery near Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge.
