Jasper Jackson, age 60, died August 6, 1969, at the Zion, Illinois Nursing Home. He was a former resident of Waukegan, Ill.
He leaves his mother, Mrs. Ethel Dees, of Hamilton, Ala.; sisters: Opal Miller of Waukegan, Il., Olean Box of Waukegan, Ruth Pierce of Holland, Gladys Crocker of Steele, and Dorothy Thorne of Steele; brothers: Charles Jackson, of San Diego, Calif., Lonnie Jackson of Bexar, Ala., and Cleat Jackson of Hamilton, Ala.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 9, 1969, at 1:00 p.m., at the Holland Church of God with Rev. Charles Faught officiating.
Interment was in Mount Zion Cemetery at Steele with the German Funeral Home, Inc., of Steele in charge.
Pallbearers were Jim Norrid, Gardner Norrid, James Mays, Lemond Townston, Austin Biggs, and Dewitt Shaw.
