James John Boone of Hayti, formerly of this area, died March 6, 1970 at the hospital in Hayti. He was born in Alabama April 20, 1889.
Services were held in the Chapel of the Original German Funeral Home, 122 East Main Street, Steele, Mionday, March 9, 1970 at 2:30 p.m.
Elzie J. Quinn of Hayti officiated.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Boone leaves three daughters: Mrs. Jessie Guthrie of Cooter; Mrs. Mary Nunn, Zion, Ill., and Mrs. Ruby Pierce, Portageville.
He leaves seven sons: Clarence Boone, Cooter; R. Z. Boone, Florida; James John Boone Jr., Chicago; Grady Boone, Flint; Billy Boone, Danny Boone, and Clifton Boone, all of Cooter.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
