Funeral services were held Thursday, August 8, 1974 at 3:00 p.m. for Odell Gaston in the chapel of John W. German Funeral Home in Steele with the Rev. James McCrary officiating.
A former Holland resident, Mr. Gaston resided at 101 West Magnolia in Blytheville at the time of his death. He was born June 27, 1897 in Michigan and died August 7, 1974 at the Doctors Hospital in Blytheville at the age of 77.
Mr. Gaston had moved to Holland from South Bend, Ind., where he was employed by South Bend Late Corp. before his retirement.
He leaves his widow, Jency Gaston, Blytheville; three step-sons, Frank Bowman and Alvin Bowman, Clarksdale, Miss., and E.L. Bowman West Memphis, Ark., five step-daughters: Peggy Denney and Linda Maynard, Memphis; Mary Jo Bowman, west Memphis; Betty Patterson, Clarksdale, Miss., and Cathy Bowman, Eupora, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. Montie V. Lynn, Douglas, Ariz., one half-sister, Mrs. Totsie Davis and nine grandchildren.
Interment was in Mount Zion Cemetery at Steele with the John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements

Funeral servcies were held Friday, May 28, 1971 at 2:00 p.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele for Margarette Graham Gaston of Blytheville, Ark., with the Rev. Gene Elrod officiating.

Mrs. Gaston was born August 28, 1898 at Braggadocio, Mo., and died May 24, 1971, at the age of 72 years, eight months and 26 days.

Her parents were the late Alfred and Amelia Graham.

She leaves her husband, Odell Gaston of Blytheville; one daughter, Mrs. Imogene Acor of Battle Mountain, Nev., one granddaughter, Clara Jean Stroup of Van Nuys, Calif., and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Gaston was a member of the Beacon Baptist Church in Blytheville.

Pallbearers were Clell Waldrop, Price Tatum, Pinnell Capehart, William Biggs, Anderson Hicks, and Ethridge McCord, with interment in Mount Zion Cemetery at Steele, Mo.
