Mrs. Addie Lee Walker Vaughn of Cooter, who was born in Brazil, Tennessee on December 4, 1895, died February 8, 1960 at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis.
Mrs. Vaughn moved to Cooter from Brazil, Tenn., in 1927. She was united in marriage to Albert W. Vaughn at Brazil on March 24, 1913. A member of Holly Grove Baptist Church, Mrs. Vaughn was active in the Woman's Missionary Society.
Funeral services were held at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Cooter Wednesday with Rev. W.E. Hall, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Mount Zion Cemetery and the John W. German Funeral Home was in charge of services.
Surviving are her husband, Albert Vaughn of Cooter; two sons: Fred Vaughn of California and Ira Lynn Vaughn of Memphis; two daughters: Mrs. Daisy Cleo West of Memphis and Mrs. Frances Moore of Nashville; a half-brother, Nat Walker, Huffman, Arkansas; four brothers: Clay, Wes, and Ebb, all of Dyersburg, and Bill Walker of Gideon, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Attie Sellers of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Cooter Methodist Church for Albert Washington Vaughn of Cooter who died July 26, 1962 at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis. A retired truck driver, Mr. Vaughn was 65 years old.

Rev. Charles Miller of Steele officiated, assisted by the Rev. Howard King of Cooter.

He leaves two sons, Fred C. Vaughn of San Bernardino, Calif., and Ira Lynn Vaughn of Memphis; two daughters, Mrs. Daisy Cleo West of Memphis and Mrs. Frances Louise Moore of Nashville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, two brothers, Gran C. Vaughn of Trenton, Tenn., and Ambris Vaughn of Trenton; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Hassell of Trenton and Mrs. Clin Wallace of Saton, Tenn.

Pallbearers were Gus Cooper, Lewis Frazier, L.N. Jones, Arnold Jones, Charles Barger, and Broadus Presser.

Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with John W. German Mt. Zion Chapel in charge of arrangements.
