Of Bonne Terre was born June 2, 1929, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Marion and Sadie Dickerson. She departed this life in her home on November 22, 2014. She was united in marriage to Walker Golden Tedder on February 20, 1950. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1977. Also preceded by ,Brothers, Marion, William, Dale and James Dickerson, Sisters , Betty Atwell and Joy “Pat” Sancoucie and Shirley Hill ,Son-In-Laws, Bill Pierce, Paul Martin, Reg Byars, Gary Lord and Tony Remshardt; grandchildren, Theodore Tedder, Jeffery Tedder Jr. and Tiffany Ann Remshardt.
She worked for Western Printing, the maker of “Little Golden” books for children. She was for many years a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. She attended Bonne Terre Church of God when she was able.
Many who knew her considered her mother, grandmother and friend. She touched so many lives in her 85 years, the list of names would circle the world.
She is survived by her children, Tom (Alvina) Tedder, Orin “Ted” Tedder and fiancee Sandy Newman, Patricia “Pat” Martin, Carol (Gary) Zahn, David Tedder, Richard “Rick” Tedder, Nancy and life Partner Marshall Woods, Cindy Tedder, and Alice (Lester) Brooks; brother, Robert (Jenny) Dickerson; 35 grandchildren, 92 great-grandchildren and nine great great- grandchildren; nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends; and beloved dog, Little Bit.
