Roy T. Eidson, the son of the late Harve and Sarah Jane "Dollie" Hiler Eidson, was born January 22, 1912 east of Pomona, Missouri. He entered into eternal rest January 10, 2004 at the age of ninety-one years.
On May 7, 1932, Mr. Eidson was married at Alton, Missouri to Ruby Odessa Worel.
He had been a route driver for the Kansas City Ice Company and also, he had been a heavy equipment operator for Howell County, Missouri from 1959 until his retirement in 1977.
Mr. Eidson is survived by his wife, Odessa Eidson, of the family home; two children, Donna Graves and husband, Walter "Buster", Willow Springs, Missouri and Robert L. Eidson and wife, Ruby, Galt, California; six grandchildren, Robert L. Eidson, Jr., Michael Eidson, Kathy Eidson, Wayne L. Eidson, Jr., DeWayne A. Graves and wife, Christy and Farrell R. Graves and wife, Anna; four great grandchildren, Ethan Graves, Gavin Graves, Garrett Graves and Maggie Graves; and several nieces and newphews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Wayne L. Eidson, Sr. and twelve brothers and sisters.
Mr. Eidson was a member of the Pomona Christian Church.
