Earl Samuel "Sam" Frame was born on October 6, 1920 in Steele, Missouri, the son of Paul Albert Frame (1899-1981) and Ora "Clevie" (Ballentine) Frame (1902-1960).
He was married about 1943 to Theda Jo Hudson.
A US Navy veteran, he served during world War II on the USS Block Island, the only American aircraft carrier sunk in the Atlantic during the war.
A resident of Nashville, Tennessee, he passed away on March 25, 2014.
Preceded in death by his son Samuel Dale Frame, he is survived by his wife; two married sons; two grandsons; three granddaughters; a sister; four great-grandchildren; several cousins; and many friends.
Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery at Steele, Missouri, beside his parents.
