Services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Chapel of the German Funeral Home for Pfc. Guy W. Beasley, who was killed in action in Germany March 20, 1945.
The Rev. Earl Golden conducted the services, assisted by the Rev. Mr. McKinney. Steele Memorial Post No. 7839 was in charge of the graveside services and interment was made in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Pfc. Beasley was born November 21, 1924 and was 20 years old when he was killed in action.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Beasley and five brothers: Eugene, Charlie, Paul and John of Arizona and Wesley of Naylor, Mo.; and one sister, Miss Aileen Cobb.
