Graveside services for Mrs. Connie Michie Abernathy, the daughter of the late William H. and Lula Wallace Michie, were Monday, February 23, 1987 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Abernathy was born October 19, 1899 at Steele, Missouri, and died February 20, 1987 at River Oaks Nursing Home in Steele at the age of 87. She was a member of the Methodist Church and a housewife. She was married to A. D. Abernathy, who preceded her in death.
Rev Ken Attix officiated.
She leaves two nephews: Bob Michie and Bill Michie, both of West Memphis, Ark., one niece, Alice Lipscomb of Blytheville, Ark., and one sister-in-law, Allie Michie of Steele.
German-Aumon Funeral Home was in charge of services.
