Clifford H. Pendergraft, 69, Pineville, died at 7:34 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, on Highway 90 as the result of a one-vehicle accident.

Mr. Pendergraft was born Nov. 14, 1930, at Pineville to the late Jesse Dewey and Eva Mae (Chrisman) Pendergraft.

He was raised in the Pineville area. From 1949 until 1960, he lived in southwest Kansas, returning to the Pineville area in 1960.
He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic and most recently, for Don O'Brien Farms.

He 1st married Hazel Wilson on April 1, 1950. He later married Wanda Sherman on Dec. 19, 1969, at Pineville. She preceded him in death Oct. 24, 1996.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dale Pendergraft; one sister, Goldie Pendergraft; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.


Wanda Sherman Pendergraft, 63, Noel, died at 5 a.m., October 24, 1996, at Freeman Hospital West, Joplin, after a short illness.

Mrs. Pendergraft was born May 19, 1933, at Anderson. She had been a lifelong resident of McDonald County. She was a homemaker. She married Clifford Pendergraft on December 19, 1969, at Pineville. He survives.
