Services for Ms. Willie Shielly were conducted Tuesday, July 4, at 1:30 p.m. at the chapel of the German-Aumon Funeral Home. The Rev. James McCrary and the Rev. Robert Haden officiated.
Ms. Shielley died in the Methodist Hospital in Memphis July 2 at the age of 77. She was born in Blytheville December 27, 1894.
She leaves two sons, B.H. Shielly of Steele and Howard Shielly of Piedmont, Mo.; one sister, Gertrude Flynn of Steele; one brother Thad Mick of Blytheville; and four grandchildren.
Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with the German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.

William H. "Bill" Shielly, died Wednesday morning at Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville. He was 70, and had lived in this community all his life.
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Steele Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Miller officiating, assisted by Rev. James F. McCrary.
Mr. Shielly was a retired farmer.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Willie Shielly; two sons, Howard and B.H.; one brother, Carl of this city; one half brother, Dewey Yarbrough of Steele; one half sister, Eva Grossett; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Pall bearers were (active) Clyan Larue, Buster Cecil, David Kelley, Quentin Still, Charles Kelley, and Virgil Hahs.
Honorary pall bearers were Chester Barnes, Harbert Hudgens, Eddie Jarboe, Dee Fullerton, Marshall Cameron, Basse Steele, Pete Coleman, O.V. Wells, Sims Michie, P.G. Morgan, Charles Bates, and Roy Marshall.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
