Mrs. Thelma May, 92, of Steele, Mo., died Wednesday, August 12, 1998 at the River Oaks Nursing Center in Steele.
Born August 2, 1906 at Gosnell, Ark., she was the daughter of the late James Greer and Etna Swain Greer.
Thelma was united in marriage to Charles Henry May, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and member of the Number Eight Cemetery Club.
Mrs. May leaves a step-son, Herman May, of Gosnell; one nephew, J.W. Greer, of Blytheville, Ark.; and three nieces: Imogene Flagg of Humboldt, Tenn., Pauline Greer of Torrence, Calif., and Robbie Reid, of Blytheville.
Funeral services for Mrs. May were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 1998, at the Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville.
Burial was at the Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele with Cobb Funeral Home in charge.
