Eloise Cooper, age 78, of Nixa, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010. She was born December 6, 1931 in Dell, Arkansas, the daughter of Almon and Mary Ellen (Glover) McCann.
Mrs. Cooper worked for Zenith before retirement. She attended James River Assembly, and held bible studies in her home. She loved her family and enjoyed sewing for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include son, Dwight Cooper and wife Coleen, Nixa; two daughters-in-law, Glinda Cooper, Nixa, and Janice Pridgen, Springfield; seven grandchildren, Brian, Glinnae, Gregg, Geoff, Ginnett, Brad, and Cody; 11 great-grandchildren; and nine siblings, Nell Anderson, Margie Vilhauer, Betty Wheeler, Terry McCann, Oneal Evans, Brenda Swiak, Tony Evans, Corky McCann, and David McCann.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James Daniel Cooper and Gary Lowell Cooper; and a grandson, Nathan Cooper.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Burial will follow in McConnell-Bledsoe Cemetery, Nixa.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., on Tuesday in the funeral home.
