Mr. Henry Fields, 48, born July 19, 1964 in Hayti, Mo., died Oct. 15, 2012 at Great Rivers Medical Center in Blytheville.
He lived in Steele and formerly in Hayti. The son of Johanna Fields and the late James Henry Wilson Fields. He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Nita Joyce Rudd; and a grandmother, Flossie Hall.
He loved hunting, fishing, camping and repairing automobiles and helping friends out when they needed a helping hand. His favorite time was when the family all got together. He loved his church and the Lord.
He leaves the following to cherish his memory; his wife, Belinda Barnes Fields of Steele; two daughters, Kandice Welsh and her husband, James of Steele; and Tish Miller and her husband, Chris of Deering; two sons, Bradley Meeks and his wife, Brinne, of Kennett; and Jeffery Fields of Steele; his mother, Johanna Fields of Hayti; Three grandchildren, Lane and Cody Miller and Jesse Welch; three sisters, Frances Duffy of Pascola; Gaynell Wilkerson of Charleston; and Linda Carrillo and her husband, Andy of Caruthersville; five brothers, James "Cowboy" Fields and his wife, Sue, of Hayti; James Calvin Fields and his wife, Maria of Caruthersville; Jerry Sellers of Blytheville, Ark.; Keith Sellers of Hayti; and H.L. Fields and his wife, Eunice of St. Louis; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at the Church of God in Caruthersville with the Rev. Charlie Dixon and the Rev. John Haywood officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
Pallbearers were Andy Carrillo, James Calvin Fields, Chase Kennedy, Justin Cunningham, Dusty Hendershod and Wesley Meeks.
Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Miller, Josh Cunningham and Austin Carrillo.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of the services.
