Mrs. Susan "Sue" Ann Lafferty, 5, daughter of the late Audie F. and Glenda Cloin Teal, died Thursday, June 19, 2014 in Cooter. Born August 8, 1959 in St. Louis, she was united in marriage to Billy Joe Lafferty on June 26, 1998 in Hayti.
Her survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Lafferty of Cooter; three daughters, Crystal DeVaughn of Port Charlotte, Fla., Sara Rudd of Caruthersville and Terri Ann Rudd of Cooter; two brothers, Curtis Teal of Macon and John Teal of Hayti; and nine grandhcildren, with one on the way.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2014 at Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele with the Rev. Jeremy Damesworth officiating.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until time of service. Pallbearers were Wayne Murphy, Franklin Casteel Jr., Kenneth Risner, Joey Puckett, Mark DeVaughn, Steve Butler and James Fields. Powell Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of arrangements.
