Gerald Stowe, 78, of Hayti, Mo., died Thursday, February 24, 2000 at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.
Born August 9, 1921 in Cooter, Mo., he was the son of the late August and Vernie Dunn Stowe. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Stowe on July 28, 1999.
Gerald worked on the assembly line at Southern Rubber Company and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Hayti.
Mr. Stowe leaves two daughters: Ruth Ann Stowe Null and Cathy Stowe Riley; and One son, Danny Stowe; One brother, Billy Stowe, of Tupelo, Miss.; and One sister, Juanita Hankins, of Ashland, Ohio.
Graveside services for Mr. Stowe were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 28, 2000 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo., with Rev. Paul Quinn officiating. John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge.
