Jackie Stowe, 60, of Hayti, died July 28, 1999 in Columbia. He was born on December 8, 1938, in Cooter, the son of the late August and Vernie Dunn Stowe.
Survivors include a son, Donnie Stowe of Braggadocio; two brothers, Billy Joe Stowe of Tupelo, Miss., and Gerald Stowe of Hayti; one sister, Juanita Hankins of Ashland, Oh.; and one granddaughter.
Services were held Friday, July 30, 1999, 10 a.m., in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, with Bro. Paul Quinn officiating. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of services.
