Lawrence F. Mahan, 61, well-known farmer of Route 2, Seneca, died Thursday morning at the home of his son, Bithe, Marionville, where he had lived for the past two weeks.

Besides his son he is survived by his wife, Lula, Seneca; two daughters, Mrs. Nara Wilkins, Route 2, Seneca, and Mrs. Dorothy Foripash, Walsh, Colo.; his father, William J. Mahan, Stella, his step-mother, Grace Mahan, Stella, one brother, John, Camden, S.C.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Sarah Epperly, Clifton Hill, and Mrs. Delta Woodward, Hawaii; four half-brothers, Herman, Route 4, Neosho, and Orville, Fred, and Nelson all of the state of California, and 11 grandchildren.
