Lillie Hazel Lineberry Buchanan, 93, of Bertrand, Mo., died Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at the Bertrand Nursing Center.
Born June 4, 1917 in Newbern, Tenn., she is the daughter of the late George B. Wimberly and Laura Lunsford Wimberly.
She was also preceded in death by Jeff Buchanan and C.E. "Buck" Lineberry and a daughter-in-law Marvice Lineberry.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Buchanan leaves two sons: Jerry Lineberry of Hockley, Texas and Lewis Lineberry and wife Carolyn of Bertrand; Four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, her beloved family pet Joe Joe; and A host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Buchanan was held at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 20, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with her son, Lewis Lineberry officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
Pallbearers were Marvin Lineberry, James Lineberry, Kevin Lineberry, James Bushnell, Beau Armentor, and Hunter Armentor.
