Funeral services were held March 10, 1979 in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville for Roscoe Doran, 76. Mr. Walter Lumpkin officiated.
Mr. Doran was born in Shawneetown, Ill., and died March 8, 1979 at Rainwater-Workman Clinic in Blytheville. He was a retired farmer and a resident of this area for the past 50 years.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Goldie Sanford Doran of Holland; three sons: Eugene Doran of Rockford, Ill., Robert Doran of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Raymond Doran of Blytheville; five daughters: Mrs. Irene Mustain of Castro Valley, Calif., Mrs. Inez Tate of Piggott, Ark., Mrs. Clara Mae DiFede of Rockford, Ill.; Mrs. Shirley Priddy of Blytheville, and Mrs. Imogene Lahue of Holland; one brother, Fred Doran of Texas; 23 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery with Cobb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Goldie Doran, 81, of Steele, Mo., died Sunday, June 14, 1987 at her home.
Funeral services were Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville. Mr. Tom Kinzell officiated with burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo.
Mrs. Doran was born in Pemiscot County, Mo., and was a lifelong resident here. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was the widow of Roscoe Doran.
She is survived by three sons: Gene Doran of Rockford, Ill., Robert Doran of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Raymond Doran of Blytheville, Ark.; four daughters, Mrs. Inez Tate of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Mrs. Irene Mustain of Castro Valley, Calif., Mrs. Shirley Priddy of Blytheville, and Mrs. Imogene LaHue of Steele; a sister, Mrs. Clara Belle Thomas of West Memphis, Ark., and 25 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
