Mrs. Mattie Wagster of Cooter and a resident of that community for 47 years, died at her home about 1:30 a.m. Saturday following an illness of several months. She was 72.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 at the Cooter Methodist Church with the Rev. B.W. Pierce, Baptist pastor, officiating. Interment was in Mount Zion Cemetery with German Undertaking Co. in charge.
She is survived by her husband, Q.C. Wagster, Cooter; one son, Floyd Wagster, Cooter; two daughters, Mrs. Cecil Fowler, Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Opal Hunt, Cooter; one brother, Gus Beeding, Steele and six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
