Jewel Willis, 93, of Steele, Mo., died Wednesday, October 30, 2002, at the NHC Healthcare Center in Kennett, Mo.
Born June 21, 1909, in Newbern, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late George Buchanan and Laura P. Kirk Wimberley.
Jewel was united in marriage to Dolph Willis in 1970. He preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Steele Church of Christ.
Mrs. Willis leaves one sister, Hazel Buchanan, of Hayti, Mo.; and Six nephews: Jerry Lineberry, Lewis Lineberry, Charles Wimberley, Doug Wimberley and Doyle Wimberley.
Graveside services for Mrs. Willis were held at 2:00, at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Mr. Lewis Lineberry officiating.
John W. German Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of services.
Pallbearers were Jerry Lineberry, Lewis Lineberry, Charles Wimberley, Doug Wimberley, Doyle Wimberley and Joe Allen Wimberley.Steele Enterprise - Steele, Missouri - November 7, 2002
