Annie Belle Trowbridge, 91, of Holland, died Friday, June 6, 2008 at the River Oaks Care Center in Steele.
Born July 2, 1916 in Hackleburg, Ala., she is the daughter of the late George Lolley and Eva McCaig Lolley.
She was also preceded in death by one son, J.C. Trowbridge; one daughter, Eunice Robertson; one son-in-law, Markus Harris; two brothers, Lloyd Lolley and R.C. Lolley; and one sister, Geneva Larey.
Annie was united in marriage to John Trowbridge in August of 1933 in Hackleburg. He preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church of rural Steele.
Mrs. Trowbridge leaves one daughter, Wanda Harris, of Holland; Five grandsons: Randall Harris of Texarkana,.....Blytheville, Ark., John Harris of Memphis, Tenn., and Tony Trowbridge and Michael John Robertson of Tennessee; Four great-grandsons: Mark Harris, Porter Myrick, Zach Myrick and Lance Scroggins; Three granddaughters: Kim Myrick of Holland, Renee Scroggins of Memphis and Beth Pyle of Tennessee; Five great-granddaughters: Annie Harris, Amber Scroggins, Briana Myrick, Kelsey Harris and Alexis Harris; Four sisters: Olive Dodd and Georgia Edwards of Haleyville, Ala., and Lora Cagle and Mae Chance of Opelika, Ala.; and One brother, Calvin Coolidge Lolley, of Adrian, Mich.
Funeral services for Mrs. Trowbridge were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 8, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with Bro. John Earl Dunavant officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.

John Arvel Trowbridge, 85, died February 16, 1997 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville, Ark. He was born November 11, 1911 in Alicia, Ark.
On August 11, 1933 he was united in marriage to Annie Bell Lolley.
He was a retired cookie salesman and a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Annie Bell Trowbridge of Caruthersville, Mo.; one daughter, Wanda Harris of Holland, Mo.; 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, J.C. Trowbridge and a daughter, Eunice Ann Robertson.
Services were held February 19, 1997 at 10 a.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele, Mo. with Rev. John Earl Dunavant and Rev. A.C. Gardner offciating.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele, Mo.
Pallbearers were: Randell Harris, John Harris, Gerry Churchwell, Tony Trowbridge, Dennis Hayes, Don Lolley.
John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
