Services for Joanna L. Northern, 16, of Steele, who died Feb. 3rd at the hospital in Blytheville, Ark., after an illness, were held Feb. 5th at the Baptist church in Holland with the Rev. Glen Johnson officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with John W. German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
She was a student at South Pemiscot High School in Steele. She was the daughter of Louis and Janis Anderson Northern and was born April 17th, 1960 in Detroit, Mich.
Survivors include her parents of Steele; one brother, Roderick Louis Northern of the home; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Northern of Steele and Mr. and Mrs. Tolby Kaiser of Warren, Mich.
