Austin Richard Pfeffer, 72, of Steele, Mo., died Saturday, October 24, 1992 at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
A son of the late Edward Minard and Esther Leona Pfeffer, he was born December 20, 1919, at Micola, Mo.
One sister also preceded him in death.
Mr. Pfeffer was a retired farmer and service station owner.
On August 29, 1940, at Senath, Mo., he was united in marriage with Mittie Crawford of Steele.
Mr. Pfeffer leaves his wife, Mittie Pfeffer, of Steele;
One son, Charles Pfeffer, of Riverview, Mich.; a daughter, Linda Siegfried, of Bartlett, Tenn.; three brothers: Lee Edward Pfeffer of Micola, Minard Pfeffer of Memphis, Tenn. and Elwood Pfeffer of Lodi, Wisc.; five grandchildren: Brian Wimberly, Kimberly Pfeffer, Joy O'Mara, Stacy Siegfried and Lisa Siegfried; and one great-granddaughter, Megan O'Mara.
Funeral services for Mr. Pfeffer were conducted by Rev. Tom Zych on Monday, October 26, 1992 at 2:30 p.m. in Bradshaw German-Aumon Chapel.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery with arrangements by Bradshaw German-Aumon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Truman LaRue, Raymond DePriest, Gervis Capps, Jerry Graham, Ken Travis and Rick Cooper.
