Funeral services for Dimple Marie Burgett Goodwin were conducted September 22, 1975 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of German-Aumon Funeral Home in Steele. Mr. Ed Brand officiated.
Mrs. Goodwin died September 19, 1975 at Acre View Nursing Home, Villa Park, Ill. She was born May 4, 1933 at Red Bay, Alabama.
Her husband, Herman Goodwin, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Goodwin is survived by three daughters: Sherrie Youngeren, Chicago; Janet Marie and Paula Denise, Melrose Park, Ill.; three sons: David Lynn Goodwin, Granite City, Ill.; John Dale Goodwin, Manteno, Ill.; and Donald Ray Goodwin, Villa Park, Ill.; her father, W. H. Burgett, Steele; one sister, Maudie Gipson, St. Louis; two brothers: Walter Travis Burgett and Wilburn Burgett, both of St. Louis; and one grandson.
Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Tom Allbritton, Roy Barnes, Paul Cooper, W. M. Barnes, Chester Barnes and S. L. Johns.
