BROWNSVILLE - Louise Milton, 79, died Thursday at Methodist Hospital- Haywood Park after a long illness. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Brownsville Funeral Home with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Milton, the widow of Virlon Milton, leaves three daughters, June Burse and Glenda Slayton, both of Brownsville, and Josephine Eddlemon of Kenton; three sons, Robert Milton and Glenn Milton, both of Brownsville, and Charles Milton of Cordova; three sisters, Kathleen Jobe of California, Gladys Biggs of Steele and Opal Ernie of Arkansas; a brother, F. D. Pyke of California, 24 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

Virlon Milton, a retired farmer, died May 20, 1974 at Haywood Park General Hospital in Brownsville, Tenn. He was born June 18, 1908 in Missouri.
Services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. May 22 at Brownsville with the Rev. E.T. Echols officiating.
Mr. Milton leaves his widow, Louise Pike Milton, Brownsville; four sons: Robert Milton, A.D. Milton, Charles Milton and Glenn Milton; four daughters: Josephine Haycraft, Virginia Haycraft, June Burse and Glenda Bailey; one brother, Floyd Milton; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Interment was in Mount Zion Cemetery at Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
