Funeral services were held March 31, 1979, at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele for Sharon Ann Cannon. Rev. Charles E. Crews officiated.
Mrs. Cannon was born May 16, 19149 at Steele, Mo. and died March 29, 1979 at Ellis Fischel State Cancer Hospital in Columbia, Mo. She was 29 years old. She had lived in this community all her life and was the daughter of Clovis and Beulah Haynes. She was united in marriage to James Cannon at Steele March 13, 1970.
She leaves her husband, James Cannon of Steele; one son, Terry Joe, of the home; one daughter, Janie Ann, of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clovis Haynes of Steele; five sisters: Mrs. Joan Crawford, Mrs. Margaret Dildine, Mrs. Christine Kenney, Mrs. Brenda Underwood and Mrs. Juanita Tomlin, all of Steele; and one brother, Harold Eugene Haynes, of Steele.
Pallbearers were Eldridge Gray, Wayne Britt, Howard Wright, Seabe Wright, Keith Haynes and Doug Smithwick.
Burial was in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
