MRS. ALONZO CROW
Mrs. Alonzo Crow, about 65 years old, died at 5:00 o'clock Monday afternoon at her home three miles south of Ham's Prairie. Mrs. Crow had been ill about three weeks with bronchial trouble and her condition became serious last Friday. Besides her husband she is survived by four sons. The Crow family moved to Callaway County about eight years ago from Macon County and the body will be sent to Mrs. Crow's old home at La Plata for burial.

ALONZO CROW DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS
-FUNERAL AND BURIAL SERVICES WERE HELD SUNDAY AT HAZEL DELL
Alonzo Crow, a long time resident of the Sue City community, died at Macon Thursday night, following a long illness.
Henry Alonzo Crow, a son of John and Nancy Crow, was born Aug. 25, 1866, near Sue City and passed away at Macon, Feb. 25, 1937. He was married to Mrs. Cinderella Campbell in the fall of 1885 and to this union three sons and one daughter were born, the daughter dying in infancy. Those left to mourn are the three sons, Earl of Leonard, Missouri, Elmer of Atlanta, Missouri, and Albert of Chula Vista, California; also a step-son, Lonnie Campbell of La Plata; and an adopted daughter, Mrs. Inez Bowen of La Plata. There are seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He lived most of his life in the vicinity where he was born, moving to Callaway County in 1910 and returning to Knox County in 1919. He was an employee of the state hospital in Fulton until his health failed him about two years ago.
Deceased was a member of the Hazel Dell Christian Church and a member of the Modern Woodmen Lodge at La Plata. He was the last of a family of eleven children.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Hazel Dell Christian Church east of La Plata, conducted by the Rev. F.M. Branic of Shelbyville. He was laid to rest by the side of his wife who preceded him in death 18 years ago.
