Nina F. Adams, 93, Neosho, died at 7:20 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2002, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Adams was born Feb. 21, 1909 in Pickardville, Canada and was an area resident since the age of three. She was homemaker.

She married Noah Ernest Adams on Jan. 18, 1930, at Neosho and he preceded her in death on Aug. 3, 1999.

She is survived by four daughters, Earnestene Talley and Elnora Wills, both of Neosho, Joyce Harbour, Ontario, Ca.; and Dolores Brown, Joplin; three sons, Eugene Adams, Neosho, Jerry Adams, Anderson, MO and Donald Adams, Highland Park, CA; one brother, Jimmy Ritter, Seneca, MO; four sisters, Geraldine Mills, Myrtle Johnson and Delores Watson, all of Palmdale, CA and Hettie Rickard, Derby, KS; 29 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren and extended family.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine Adams, three sisters and four brothers.

Services were Monday, May 6, at 1 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Darrell Fisher officiated. Burial was in the New Salem Cemetery. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
