Funeral services Eleanor Burks, 85, Willow Springs, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 5, 2017 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Burks passed away at 7:57 a.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at her home.
She was born March 14, 1932, at Bruner, Missouri, to Louis Earl Fink and Gladys V. Holman Fink. On June 14, 1952, she was married at Harrison, Arkansas, to Arthur F. Burks, Jr., who preceded her in death on November 18, 1996. Mrs. Burks had worked at Conway Winter Shoe Factory and on the family dairy farm. She enjoyed fishing, horseback riding and picking greens and mushrooms. Mrs. Burks was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Pomona, Missouri. She was a dedicated Christian and had eighteen years perfect attendance in her Sunday school class.
She is survived by two daughters, Becky Brotherton and husband, Mike and Debbie Davis and husband Wayne, all of Pomona, Missouri; four grandchildren, Eric Brotherton and wife, Michelle, Amber Chambers, Sunny Schulz and husband, Jonathan and Lacey Duggar and husband, Larry; six great-grandchildren, Kailey, Ethan, Braden, Keagan, Kaegan and Khloe; two brothers, Russ Fink and Tim Fink; four sisters, Shirley Rosenberg, Eloise Woodard and husband, Bill, Shelba Hogan and Melba Ratterree and husband, Don; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one grandson, Brandon, one great-grandson, Rowdy and three brothers, Robert, P.J. and Oscar Fink, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Burks will lie in state from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church Kitchen Fund and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
