Funeral service was held August 10, 1961 at the German Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Jay Helen Hudson, who died last Tuesday in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She was 46.
Rev. James McCrary officiated.
Mrs. Hudson lived in Denton prior to her marriage to Mr. Hudson, and his family originally farmed west of Steele.
She leaves her husband, Gerald M. Hudson, of Poplar Bluff; two sons, Gerald, Jr., Flat River; and Ted. C., also of Flat River; her mother, Mrs. Bertie Winn of Denton; and one grandson, Ted C. Hudson, Jr., of Flat River.
Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery with German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
