Charley Ray Easley, 90, of Springdale, Ark., died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born May 7, 1921, in Eagle Rock, Mo., the son of William Greenberry Easley and Mollie (Larcey) Easley. On April 3, 1941, in Wheaton, Mo., he was united in marriage to Roma Epperly. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Roma Easley; five children, Richard Easley and wife, Vera, Charles Easley and wife, Sherill, Margaret Ledgerwood and husband, Bill, Vickie Rae Parker and husband, Robert, and Billy Easley and Bernie, all of Northwest Arkansas; 10 grandchildren, Scotty Easley, Rennie Easley, Rodney Easley and wife, Stephanie, John Easley and wife, Heather, Brad Ledgerwood and wife, Cary, Bart Ledgerwood and wife, Angela, Brandy Foster and husband, Brad, Amy Vinson and husband, Sheldon, Leslie Harp and husband, Bryan, and Dusty Thomas, all of Northwest Arkansas; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Greenberry Easley and Mollie Easley; four brothers, Loren Easley, Frank Easley, Aubrey Easley and Loyd Easley; four sisters, Zuma Priest, Alma Easley, Allie Prier and Julie Cooper; and two great-grandchildren, Parker and Fisher Vinson. Ray, as most people knew him, grew up and received his education at Eagle Rock. For several years he ran a heavy-equipment business and was a longtime cattle farmer, which he enjoyed. He was a member of Faith Regular Baptist Church in Elm Springs. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, in Faith Regular Baptist Church, Elm Springs, Ark., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, Mo. The Rev. Gary Jewell and the Rev. Louis Dewett will conduct the services. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Easley Cemetery, Eagle Rock, Mo. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Contributions may be made to Faith Regular Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Ray.

Roma Easley, 88, of Springdale, Ark., died Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Springdale Health & Rehabilitation Center in Springdale, Ark. She was born July 28, 1924, in Shell Knob, Mo., the daughter of John F. Epperly and Omaha Watson Epperly.
On April 3, 1941, in Wheaton, Mo., she was united in marriage to Charley Ray Easley.
She is survived by two brothers, Lynn Epperly and wife, Arlene, of Mesa, Ariz., and Joy Epperly and his wife, Barbara, of Eugene, Ore.; one sister, Laveda Brumfield of Richland, Wash.; five children, Richard Easley and wife, Vera, Charles Easley and wife, Sherill, Margaret Ledgerwood and husband, Bill, Vickie Rae Parker and husband, Robert, and Billy Easley, all of Northwest Arkansas; 10 grandchildren, Scotty Easley, Rennie Easley, Rodney Easley and wife, Stephanie, John Easley and wife, Heather, Brad Ledgerwood and wife, Cary, Bart Ledgerwood and wife, Angela, Brandy Foster and husband, Brad, Amy Vinson and husband, Sheldon, Leslie Harp and husband, Bryan, and Dusty Thomas, all of Northwest Arkansas; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charley Ray Easley; parents, John F. Epperly and Omaha Epperly; brother, Merdith Epperly; sister, Agatha Pirtle; brother-in-law, Jay Brumfield; and great-grandchildren, Parker and Fisher Vinson.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2013, in Faith Regular Baptist Church, Elm Springs, Ark., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, Mo. The Rev. Gary Jewell will conduct the services. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Easley Cemetery, Eagle Rock, Mo.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
Contributions may be made to Faith Regular Baptist Church kitchen fund in memory of Roma.
