Mrs. Buford Channell, 76, died at her home at Holland last Saturday, November 28, 1959 after a lengthy illness. A native of Tennessee, she had lived in Holland for 47 years.
Funeral service was held at the Baptist Church in Holland Monday afternoon with the Rev. Ray Crews officiating. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with German Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were G.C. and Joe Heathcock, Marvin Channell, Taylor Kilburn, Carl Erwin, and Delano Mills.
Surviving are her husband, R.C. Channell; three sons, Leonard, Loyd and Joe; one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Barron, all of Holland; 48 grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.
