Married Anna Isabelle Owens October 5, 1865, Potosi, Washington Co. MO
*He enlisted in Capt. C. J. Barnes' Company J, 5 Reg., Ks. Cav. on 24
April, 1862, during the Civil War at Springfield, Missouri. Records show
him to be a man 6 foot, 1 1/3 inches tall, complexion light, eyes black ,
occupation, farmer. He was honorably discharged at De Valls Bluff,
Arkansas, on the 23rd day of April, 1865, by reason of expiration of term
of service.
