Lois Elizabeth Funderburk, 76, of Kennett, Mo., died Saturday August 26, 2000, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born Tuesday, December 11, 1923, in Gadsden, Tenn, she was the daughter of the late John Burress and Mamie Wray Burress. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Blondell Selph.
Lois was united in marriage to Lois Alvin Funderburk on December 16, 1948, in Osceola Ark. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1984.
A Baptist, she was retired from the restaurant and mercantile business.
Mrs. Funderburk leaves one sister, Geneva Branum, of Kennett; and one brother, Hershell Burrerss, of Holland, Mo.
Funeral services for Mrs. Funderburk were held at 2:00 p.m Tuesday, August 29, 2000, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Steele, Mo., with Bro. James Lewis officiating.
Burial was at the Mt Zion Cemetery in Steele with Bradshaw Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
Pallbearers were Ben Macon, Ray Hudgins, Wiley Ward, Marvin Childers, Keith Flowers, and David Bond.

Funeral services were held for Lois Alvin Funderburk, 65, Wednesday, June 13, in the chapel of German-Aumon Funeral Home in Steele. Rev. David Hart and Rev. Jim Doyle officiated. Singers were Charlotte and Glenda O'Kane.
Mr. Funderburk was born April 8, 1919, at Cooter and died June 10, 1984 at Methodist Hospital in Memphis.
He leaves his wife, Lois E. Funderburk of Cooter; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Hamilton of Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. Lora Cmmings of Temple, Tex., Mrs. Ruth Wilkerson of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Lilliam Johnson of Hayti; and one brother, Roy Funderburk, of Thornwood, N.Y.
Pallbearers were Steven Children, Keith Flowers, Louis Lafferty, Hughes Bond, Jackson Neil and Connie Mac Decourley.
Burial was in Mt Zion Cemetery in Steele, with German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
